Disability equality training
Disability equality training explores the concept of people being disabled by society’s barriers and attitudes, highlighting the role of individuals and organisations in removing those barriers. Disability equality and awareness training enables participants to critically examine personal attitudes within the safety of the group and facilitates development of positive, non-discriminatory approaches.
Disability equality is no longer an aspiration. It is a requirement in many aspects of commercial and personal life. Broomhead Training has played a part in bringing about a fairer and more inclusive society, through disability equality training which was a new concept when Di Broomhead started over ten years ago.
Disability awareness training and disability equality training are delivered through lively and interactive workshop style courses, and we bring the courses to you as all our training is delivered on-site.
Disability training helps you to keep on the right side of the law. Whether you have disabled customers or disabled staff, you will be able to comply with the spirit of the law through DDA training and DDA 2010 Training.
We are an EDI approved centre and courses include Level 1 VRQ in Disability Awareness. We offer conference workshops and other workshops.
Disability equality training should always be led by a trainer with personal experience of disability.
